I need urgent help for my GSCEs

Heyy, I am a year 10 and I took my first GCSE last year (Business Studies), I got a 4 and I was hoping to improve this year, my exams are only in a few weeks and I am quite confident I will pass, but struggling with improving my grade. I am taking Edexcel English Literature and CIE Geography, and was just wondering if there is any last minute tips/revision help I could get from someone who did well in their GCSEs, or someone who was in my position, and managed to get a goodish grade with doing very little revision until last minute. Any help will be very appreciated xx

Hii, I took GCSE business when I was in Y10 and a revision website that rlly helped me revise content was Seneca ( I got access through my school so I would rlly recommend trying it out if ur school also uses this).

Also, I would recommend looking at past papers (specifically mark schemes) to help u know how to structure ur answers or alternatively Tutor2U offers revision resources regarding this too.

Hope this helps )

Hello, Ill be doing my GCSEs in exactly 1 year, although i can give you some tips for English literature. There are soem very useful resources such as PMT or Mr Salles (he is exellent) and also try to incorporate extensive vocabulary in tour essays + manage your time effectively during the exam. Good luck + believe in yourself!!! xx

Did anyone warn you that you will need to declare that grade 4 on your UCAS application?

Past papers are the way then target weaker areas.

I also did a btec but did Health and social care. the process was the same for business in my school. Before your exams to help your grade you should have already made clear notes from the start of the year. This would have helped by the time you got to the real thing. I'm assuming you had a mock before the real thing? i had a mini mock to help and it helped alot. With that mock mark out all your weak points and work on that. Do extra work and past papers and get your teacher to mark it for u. Try revision techniques that will ACTUALLY help e.g. blurting, past papers etc. You can also take a look on quizlet, if u don't have notes or flash cards already made and need notes quick i really recommend quizlet. People put up their own notes so that should help. There are also teachers who put up flashcards as well as tutors. Hope this helps!
