hi! have anyone encountered self-plagiarism referral at uni? I'm a postgrad student and had been called to senate for further investigation. I didn't know self-plagiarism existed up until this moment

Help! Am I gonna get expelled from uni just because I use my own work? At postgrad you could as they might expect you to have learnt about self-plagiarism in undergrad.

I did right away after I got the referral, and the PIC said we need to wait for 8-10 weeks to get the letter from senate. I'm really worried about the consequences as supposedly my project/dissertation starts in May, and couldn't do anything until overall grade is known (now is pending due to the accusation). Plus, I'm under sponsorship, worried how it will affect if they will fail me ☹️
