alevel help

so embarrassed and icl disgusted in myself. been struggling with mental health so much and it’s impacted my grades so much and now my exams are lit in 2 weeks and i’ve not had any motivation.

anyone have tips on how to bounce back and relearn all the y12 and y13 content. i do ocr history and know 2/3 topics decentish (not exam level but not horribly), spanish (not bad bc decent memory and know some examples) and english lit (actually disgusting i struggle and know no quotes and was baso failing anyway)!

like i’m not stupid yk i know it’s my fault that i let myself get to this point of mental distress but i just need to know how to do 1) learn so much content super quickly and 2) get it to a passable exam stage. like Bs ?

It's so so easy not to put in hard work and to let motivation slide - so try to stop beating yourself up. Stop this and start an action plan. The lack of a plan is what got yourself into the mess in the first place. If you are lucky you may get something out of this.

Get hold of OCR A level history revision notes. Go on the OCR site (or ask your tutors for the exam board revision plan) and do what you can. Clinically plan the subjects and the hours/minutes in countdown to your exam. Then work out how much time you can give to each subject.

If a pass is all you are after you might just pull it off. It might be worth considering doing the year again. But why do you want the grades? Who is this for? You or someone else? You have to put the work in to get the results. No one said it would be easy but if you set out a revision structure you are in with a chance.

Nothing in this life is for free and nothing comes without sheer determination and effort. Why are you different? Be careful of defining life by your failure. If you never give 100% effort at least once in your life and plan effectively you will never know what you are capable of achieving and get ahead. Your life will be defined by the expectation to fail?
