Is it hard to make friends in college/sixth form?

I'm going to a different college than all my friends. Is it easy to make new friends or will everyone just be with their secondary school friends?

Probably a high change of people sticking together, I mean wouldn't you? Anyways best way to start is to find likeminded people entering the school because they'll wanna make friends as well! Once you make a friend you'll find it's a lot easier to find others! I'm sure if you just wandered up to someone also new to the college and asked if they wanted to be friends they'd have to have a pretty good reason to say no, and that in itself would be rude!!
