attempt to grow my grade?

Hi, I am a year ten and I study English lit + lang, maths, chemistry, physics, biology, business, product design and psychology. My fave subjects are Psychology and Biology. I have always been an unmotivated procrastinator and I am PRAYING that this blog fixes that! I had to take a lot of time off due to illness and I missed about a month so my grades have significantly dropped. I will write what I am getting atm and what I want to get on my mocks!
English literature: 3 > 7
English Laguage: 4 > 5/6
Maths: 7 > 7
Physics: 5 > 6
Chemistry: 6 > 6
Biology: 6 > 7/8
Business: 8 > 8/9
Product design: 6 > 7/8
Psychology: 9 > 9
I will post any revision progress later (hopefully)!
Thanks!

Hi there,

Having to take time out must've been difficult. I hope you can still keep a positive outlook with your work as you go through year 10 and 11.

You have so much time until your GCSEs that if you put good study practices in now and make steps to get your grades up for Year 11 you can absolutely achieve what you want to with your grades. Try speaking with teachers to get the content you missed, as that way you won't miss out on too much.

I would always recommend looking at that day's work in each subject for 15 minutes at the end of the school day. 5 subjects means just over an hour of looking at previous content, as this helps it stick in your memory much better and then you can still have that time in an evening to relax and wind down.

Good luck with studying and I hope you get the grades you're aiming for!

Thank you it has been hard because I wasn’t particularly motivated before and now it’s just so hard and feels pointless but your suggestion is actually really smart, I never thought of that before thank you!
