Pass by compensation Scheme for postgraduate

Hi, can anybody help me with pass by compensation scheme?

It says, “to be eligible for compensation, a student is required to obtain a credit weighted average of module marks at the first attempt of at least 55%.
What does it mean? Does it have to include overall of failed and passed modules or just passed modules?

Hi @soniya725 🙂 I'd say that means across all of your classes and the first attempt of sitting them you need to have an average of at least 55%. So if you'd failed a module that may bring down your weighted average. That's just my interpretation based on the text so I'd also say that if you have any questions around this you should definitely get in touch with your course leader or development advisor so they can explain it to you in more detail if required.

My reading is also that it means all modules.
