Funding for MSc Audiology (Pre-Registration)

Hi,
I have a first degree (in a relevant subject) and am interested in becoming an audiologist. I am looking to do a 2 year pre-registration masters (MSc Audiology). I have the following questions:

1) How does funding work w/r to Student Finance England? Will I have access to the undergraduate loan system like other people who do Pre-Regsitration Master’s (e.g. speech and language therapy), or will I be applying for a post-graduate loan?
2) Will I receive a full loan for both years of the course? I.e. not split in half over each year

Thanks!

No,
Thank you

Thank you. What is the highest qualification you already hold as Audiology isn't classed as an exception course.

Can you also confirm the full name of the course and university?

Thanks, Jason

I hold a BSc - that is my highest qualification
The university I was looking at is Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.

Thank you.

Is it the MSc Audiology (Pre-Registration) course that's 2 years you're looking to study?

If so, it would be a postgraduate application and the funding available is the Postgraduate loan that is paid to you directly. You can then use this to pay your fees to the university. The total amount is £12,471 which is paid over the 2 years. If it's for a course beginning in September 2024 then applications will be live closer to the start of summer. Thanks, Jason
