The Student Room Group

Can I do anything about construction outside my room in my student accomodation?

For context: I live in a private student accommodation on the 7th floor, which is the only floor in the building with a terrace. There has been building going on 5 days a week from 9-5 every week for the past 2 months almost, and I was notified they won't be done with the "section" on the terrace until at least June. The builders are always outside my room, I can see them outside everyday and the noise is extremely loud, it feels like they're drilling into my head. They have also blocked half of my window view with construction equipment. I have been going through alot of stress because of this, and the builders often yell or play music. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could do anything about this even though they're working within legal hours. I have been taking painkillers for the headaches too regularly now. Any help or advice would be great!

Can you ask if a temporary transfer is possible to another room short-term?
