Why the University of Roehampton London is great for commuting students

The University of Roehampton London is a great choice for you if you are thinking about commuting to and from university.

Our campus is just a 15 minute walk from Barnes Station, with regular trains to Waterloo. A short bus ride to Putney Bridge and you will find the District tube line. The best bit, we have a free bus service to get you to and from those places. If you fancy cycling into university, there are plenty of secure storage areas. Ebikes are also available on campus!

Feel free to bring your own food, our college kitchens have fridges and microwaves, perfect for warming up last nights leftovers. There will be somewhere comfortable for you to enjoy your food and get some work done. Our library café is a great spot- comfy seating and coffee to go.

If you are thinking about driving in, we offer free onsite car parking (one of the only London universities to do so). We do like to encourage green transport though, so do check out the free bus service!

"As a commuting student, Roehampton was the ideal choice for me. Its proximity to my home and its campus facilities allow me to fit right back in with my friends and make the most of what the university has to offer!" Hameda Lamlum, BSc Marketing.
