A level biology - textbook or revision guide

Can anyone recommend any revision guides or textbooks for a level biology? Also what is the difference? Because the text books are like £40 but the revision guides are only like £20

Ahh sorry i don't do AQA so not 100% sure but i think CGP are great! id recommend their student books, (i use one for AQA chem) and the way they lay it out makes it so easy to study and even self learn. I'm also assuming AQA have their own textbook so I'd probably recommend that too? if u don't want to waste money, u can check out the online version on some uhh helpful websites lets just say and see which one u prefer before purchasing. Hope this helps :smile:

Revision guides are for summary but textbooks should have more detailed info!

I do AQA too and personally wouldn’t bother with textbooks: instead watch Miss Estruch or biology with Olivia on YouTube! They are brilliant and have been teaching Biology for a long time: I think Miss Estruch has experience being an examiner too!
