will this affect my gcse?

I recently broke my left wrist and its hurting quite a bit. I'm right handed thankfully, but i have my gcse in 2 weeks. Will this affect my ability to write in the exam?

Surely you can answer that question yourself? Have you tried writing since this happened? Is your ability to write impacted?

i think you could let the exams officer in your school know, sometimes they could let the exam board know and take it into consideration when they're marking your papers

Hi, im 15 who was supposed to do my gcses now aswell but mine specifically is getting delayed so i hope that this is helpful although it might not be much help. For some people who struggle to write, unable to write or find it easier to type, my school allows them to use a laptop for the exam. So try speaking to a teacher in school who handles exams or speak to your head of year. In my school we have something called inclusion which is basically for special need students or students that need support or help. So if you have something like that in your school i suggest going to them too. You don't have to have specific special needs to go to them. Some may say you need to build up evidence for using a laptop in exams. So with if they say yes to you but say you need evidence then i suggest you start typing up some lesson work for the meantime. However i don't think they would ask for evidence as it isn't an intellectual and cognitive issue but a physical one. But yeah speak to either your Head of year, and exams officer/teacher or a special needs/extra help department. And try doing it as soon as possible as sometimes it could take time to arrange. Thats all, sorry for it being long!
