Is my USMLE Plan feasible? (UK med student)

Context: I am finishing 2nd year of medical school in the UK this May, 3rd year begins in September.

Step 1: Study from August (since I have other commitments from May-August) till December, take Step 1 early Jan 2025.

Step 2: Study from Jan 2025, take in late-July/August 2025.

Is this recommended considering I aim to score in the 95+ percentile for Step 2? I assume it may be a bit too early to take Step 2 having only one clinical year of experience.

If I follow through with the aforementioned plan I intend to take Step 3 in my final year of medical school, in 2027 (provided I do not intercalate). Thoughts on this?

Hey! Kinda late to the party, but I have been seeing posts about the GMC not going through WFME accreditation. any idea what that actually means? Afaik, it seems we can't apply to US med schools? Correct me if I'm wrong
