Parents are supporting both my sister and I so why are we getting different amounts of student finance .we are both in same year (3rd)at different unis last two years we have had same amount

Is it the last year for both of you? All students get less in their final year as support ends when the summer term finishes (in previous years your maintenance loan will have given you some funding for the summer holidays). If it is your final year and your term end dates are different, then that will account for the different amounts.

my term finishes into August next year ,where as my sisters finishes may /June and has received higher this is why I’m confused

What times are office hours? I've been trying everyday at different times such as 9am-4pm and every time the chat bot says that there's no agents available and it doesn't tell me when they will be available.

It's a busy time of year so just keep trying or call 0300 100 0607. Online chat is available M-F from 9 am to 6 pm. You can call between 8 am and 8 pm.

Is this your final year for both of you? Students typically receive reduced support in their last year as funding ends after the summer term (previously, the maintenance loan provided some funding for summer holidays). If it's your final year and your term end dates vary, that could explain the difference in amounts.
