Second degree

Hey! heard so many different things about second degrees not being funded and some people saying yes you can get full support so decided to ask on here. I graduated last September with a BA hons in dance education however wanting to take a new degree in child nursing. Will I get student funding for this? Will I get a maintenance loan? I work a full time job and won’t be able to keep that up as well as uni all over again so need as much support as possible
Hi amelia1319,

Nursing is an AHP exception course so you will be able to get funding to study this course if you already hold another degree. This will include maintenance support.

Thanks,
Calum

Lovely thankyou so much that’s great news! I’ve heard there’s an NHS bursary as well? Is that true ?

It's the NHS Learning Support Fund (not bursary) and you will be able to apply for it if your course is at a uni in England:
