Legally enforceable time limit on staying with boyfriend in halls?

My boyfriend is in postgrad halls and he hadn't got a lot of necessary stuff so I've ordered packages. He went to ask if there was a way for me to collect them rather than him and the staff let him know there is a 3 night rule on guests. I've planned to stay for a week (and will not come again for months). I think as long as I don't order anymore parcels they won't notice.
However, if they do, is this legally enforceable? I wouldn't want him to get kicked out. It's been a long time since I was in halls but people had guests for however long they wanted and as long as they behaved well, not an issue (one of my flatmates had someone over from Canada for three weeks and no-one batted any eye).

Well, if you're not a student they can kick you out of the accommodation and ban you from returning. Unlikely that your boyfriend would be though, as long as he hasn't done anything else wrong in the eyes of the hall. However, it's one of these rules that aren't really enforced unless you're being bothersome. As long as you aren't a bother or inconsiderate to your boyfriend's flatmates you should be fine and they won't care.

It's enforceable in the sense that your BF's has signed a tenancy agreement stating what guest restrictions there are.

As above, whether the uni actually cares if you keep your head down is another matter.

If he violates his agreement they could kick him out. He signed the agreement so it is enforceable. Will they, probably not but if they have kids on the waitlist I wouldn’t risk it.
