Level 3 apprenticeship after T Level

Can my child do a level 3 apprenticeship after completion of a T Level in a similar same subject .
For example a T level in design surveying and construction, and then a Level 3 apprenticeship in surveying.
I have been told that that funding for the level 3 apprenticeship is not available after T Levels.
I have looked a funding rules by DFE but they do not mention TLevels.

Fellow parent here.
My previous employer was working with local colleges to be a placement provider for T levels.

Have you spoken to any local FE colleges or sixth forms offering T levels? They should be up to speed with this.

I was under the impression that apprenticeships in the same subject had to be one level higher than qualifications held. If that’s correct, your son would need to apply for a Higher or degree level Apprenticeship in the same subject, not level 3.
I believe that you can take a lower level apprenticeship in a different subject.
However, this was a couple of years ago and it’s such a new area that things may have completely changed..

So contact local colleges/sixth forms and ask the career departments for information. You could have a search on this website if you haven’t already, but may not find the current state of play.

Best of luck!
