HKU/CUHK non-jupas 2025

As some students already start to approach me for 2025 med interview coaching, I think it will be nice if I can start a discussion for 2025 intake

Currently predicted 3A*1A, is there any chance I can get offer from either cuhk or hku?

The minimum requirement for both school is 4A*

From experience, many non-jupas applications with 4 A* don't get an offer, interviews are guaranteed with 4 A*

Hello I applied to hku mbbs this year (2024) but didn’t get an offer, my actual Alevel grades are 4A* but the UMS of one of my subject is 93%, should I retake that subject and also apply for cuhk, is there any penalty for retaking for cuhk or should I do a different subject

Do you really mean HKU? I thought only CUHK uses UMS as stated in their website. Do you mind sharing more info about your experience for HKU?

I applied to HKU for 2024 entry but didn’t get in, so I was gonna reapply for 2025 entry for both HKU and CUHK but UMS of one of my subject isn’t enough so I was wondering should I retake or do another subject so I can apply to cuhk.

Good you have interview, I know some of the students got 4A* but no interviews. Compare with IB, seem like IAL/GCSE less chance nowadays.

I heard CUHK will look at UCAT scores when offering 1st round interviews.
Anyone know if HKU Med use UCAT score or not?

has anyone ever gotten into HKU or CUHK med after one year of studying at another uni? I'm currently studying a biomed degree in Australia and am considering applying to medicine in HK. (HKID holder)

Heyyyyy I'm also interested in applying to HKU MBBS/CUHK MBChB (local)
I’m a new admitted freshman in CUHK Med (Year 2 direct entry scheme). After the first few weeks of school, I really dislike the environment and atmosphere. I’m currently thinking of reapply to HKU for 2025 intake. Does anyone know if that’s possible and how likely can I get in successfully?

What makes you dislike CUHK?
