About art psychotherapy MA entry requirements

As mentioned on programme pages most schools would require relevant work experience up to a year, while some emphasize on the hours and some don’t. I have around 200 hours only and I’ve sent inquires to schools like Sheffield Hallam University about my eligibility, they said even if I don’t meet the entry requirements I could still submit my application. However it’s still unclear how strict / flexible each school is about those hours. Does anyone have experience in compensating their hours with other qualifications, and got admitted to one of the schools?
