Looking for advice, have been offered a trial shift for this Friday, bar work in a nightclub to fill my summer whilst moving roles in the ambulance service.
I have no prior work ex in a bar or nightclub to that matter, will I be expected to know all? I am by no means socially awkward but a bit wary as there is lots to know 😅
Any helps or suggestions, personal experience etc would be much appreciated!
Whoever has offered you the trial should already have some idea of what you can do so don't get too stressed. They will get you used to the set up before it gets too busy as they'll want you to be useful once the punters all start to come in. Use it as an opportunity to see whether you'll find working in a busy, noisy atmosphere where you have to appear friendly & cheerful is right for you. Trials work both ways.
