What should I choose as my insurance? and firm also any advice

I really need some advice my main 3 options are Sheffield for biomedical science KCL for nursing and Surrey again for biomedical science I’ve also gotten an offer from Southampton for nursing but idk,I really want to go to a uni that is quite diverse but also that’s quite lively. I lean more towards doing a degree in biomedical science instead of nursing so choosing Sheffield as firm should be ideal in this situation, however I’ve heard that Sheffield isn’t that diverse and isn’t accredited to Ibms either but I’m also conflicted if surreys kinda dead😭 please any advice would be appreciated x

Decide first if you want to be a nurse or if you prefer an academic course. If you prefer biomed, then decide how important the IBMS accreditation is to your career plans. Then think about what the uni can offer you socially.

Do you actually want to be a nurse.
This is the question you need to focus on, not nebulous stuff like 'diversity'.
Especially since on a nursing course you will spend minimal time 'at Uni' as its more like a full-time NHS job with training on the side.

I actually don’t know that’s one of my main issues and was hoping for some advice I don’t mind spending minimal time at uni but I do also wish to have diversity too or an inviting environment

Hi there!

If you're still in doubt whether you want to do nursing or biomed, you can chat to our students from both courses and ask any important questions you think might help. They're always happy to help!

Regarding diversity and if the uni will feel inviting, you can have a look at our undergraduate youtube video recently posted, which represents what life as a student is like here on campus. Also, with its proximity to London (30-min train journey), you won't run out of things to do, for sure.

I hope this helps!
