Student Finance application as a UK national currently living in France

Hello,
I start University in September in the UK. I am currently in the process of filling in the SFE application and I had a couple questions.
I am a UK national with a British passport but I currently live in France.
I do not have a UK bank account right now but my father has one. Can I use my father's bank statement for the SFE application and change it to mine once I move to the UK in September?
Finally, can I apply without to SFE without a National Insurance number and provide it later once I am eligible to get one in September (ie: living in the UK)?

When will you be moving to the UK and how long have you been living in France for? Can you also confirm what level of funding your course will be?

The bank details needs to be in your name. We can't accept bank details in another person's name. You can update this once you receive your bank details and national insurance number but do be advised we will need this in order to pay you so do be advised your payments may be delayed. I've lived in France all my life and will be moving to the UK around August - September. My course is a full time undergraduate course and I will be paying Home fees.

When you say my payments will be delayed do you mean just the Maintenance loan or also the Tuition loan?

Is it just the tuition fees you're applying for? If so, we don't require your bank details for these.

Just to also confirm you need to be living in the UK on or before the 1st of September 2024 (Not after this date) if your course starts this Sep/Oct. Thanks, Jason

Hello,
No I'm applying for both (Tuition and Maintenance loans).
If I provide SFE my NINO number in September will that delay the University from receiving the tuition fees or does SFE need the bank statement and NINO number only for the Maintenance loan?

You can still apply just now for the funding and submit the application but for the funding to be released we will require that information if applying for the full funding. Thanks, Jason
