OCR A Level Religious Studies 2024 predictions!!!

Hi guys,

I will be doing my A level OCR RS exams this year and I just wanted to know your predictions on the essay titles for Philosophy, Ethics and Religion (I do Buddhism but other religions are welcome as well)

OCR don't seem to have much of a theme when it comes to picking topics - they repeat topics more often than you would expect which does make it very difficult to predict what they might come up with

Yeah that was definitely the case with 2023 ethics paper, the questions were repeated which was a disadvantage for many cause they didn’t revise them.

Predictions are not advisable. I could probably get predictions right 65% of the time. Do you want to gamble your A level on that 35% chance? At this year a frienzied culture of predicting arises. It's all a distraction from just learning everything like you need to!

Hi sir, yes I am revising ALL of the topics but I just wanted to see what others predict could potentially come up.

Also I use your website!!! It’s so so helpful has helped me so much in the past 2 years. The recent updating you have done has been amazing. Thank you so much 🙂 hopefully with your resources I can achieve the A I am predicted

Great! Yes I'm updating all the A* summary notes at the moment - did the philosophy ones today. And added more questions to the possible questions list.

hi, finally someone else doing buddhism aswell! i feel like everyone does christianity. do you feel prepared? i've looked at 'i think therefore i teach's 2024 predictions but obviously there aren't any buddhism ones. i'm hoping for three marks, four noble truths and maybe nagarjuna

I don’t feel too prepared I’ve only covered like the first 4 topics of Buddhism just need to go over the rest because I’ve been doing more philosophy and ethics. I hate Nagarjuna but I’m hoping for Buddhism in the west, life of the Buddha and Buddhism and gender

pretty sure Aristotle or Plato might come up, maybe nature + attributes of God (unfortunately). How likely do you think the topics asked last year will be re asked this year?

OCR likes to keep everyone on their toes, so they have been known to give the same topic two years in a row

the youtube channel ' I think therefore I teach' has up-to-date predictions for OCR RS - her Philosophy ones were quite accurate
