Whats the catch with the flat at Glen Eyre?
I'm looking at the accomodation for Southampton and I've noticed that the price of the flats at Glen Eyre are cheaper than both the ensuit room options. I know that the flats have a shorter lease (38 weeks vs 41) but the price per week is still lower.
I don't really see what the catch is that would bring the price down cause you get the private kitchen on top of the bathroom as well as what appears to be a bigger room.
If anyone can explain it, that would be great, thanks.

Can you link to what you’re looking at?
Are you sure it’s a single occupancy self contained flat and not a non ensuite room in a flat?

Hello @SadOS , Can you explain a bit more about the flats you are looking at? Glen Eyre is divided into various parts basis the room options. Ensuite rooms start from £198/ week and flats start from £240/week. Below is the link for the same:https://www.southampton.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/halls/glen-eyre
