HELP ME

So I have a debit card but it's the stupid new natwest design on it and I can't see my sort code or account number. I need that information to log in to my online account, but I haven't done that before so I don't really know what I'm doing. I know my customer number, and all the details on the card but I forgot my pin.

Everything that I have searched for has lead me back to the same problem, log in online (which I can't), so I register for account details to be reset and I need my sort code and account number for.

It's probably a lot more straight forward than this, but I'm new to debit cards so I don't really know what I'm doing.

Is the paper that I received with my pin code a statement?

I've banked with RBS (part of the NatWest group) for a loooong time, and my debit cards have never had the account number on them (though they do have the sort code).
@Surnia makes a good point re putting money into your account -- you would need sort code and account number to do that. Might you have given those details to other people so they can transfer money to your account -- e.g. your parents, friends, an employer? If so, ask them to tell you what they are.

I don't know how it works my mum sent money through onto her phone somehow like an invoice or something (I'm waffling idk what an invoice is)

Dayum, imagine having money. A nyways, check the letter you recieved with your card and before you got your card (usually you recieve two or three letters), check on there for r logins and stuff. If you have an app for ur account, you should be able to login using your letters, if not, call ur card company. good luck.

To make a bank transfer, your mum would have used your sort code and account number. In my experience the banking app will have saved these for future use. So just ask your mum to check her online banking app/site and tell you what they are. Make a note for future reference!
