As you will know, both Unit 1 (Dispute Solving in Civil Law) and Unit 3 (Applying the Law) are split into Part A (where you research the topic) and Part B (the exam itself). Although you don't mention for which unit you'll be doing Part A on Tuesday (the BTEC timetable, here, shows that Tuesday falls within the Part A window for either unit), it doesn't really matter as the Administrative Support Guides (here for Unit 1 and here for Unit 3) say the same thing:

"The Part A pre-release preparatory window can be divided into sessions according to the needs of learners. Learners are advised to spend up to 6 hours on this activity, which does not have to be restricted to supervised conditions. Learners are allowed to use the internet for their research if needed. Learners can access the internet during preparatory research only."

If your school / college haven't told you that you can use the internet for Part A, they presumably also haven't told you that you can make notes during Part A (up to two sides of A4) which you can take into the exam itself (Part B). I'd encourage you to read the Administrative Support Guide (just reading one will do, as they're essentially the same) so you're as prepared as possible for Tuesday. Each guide is aimed at the school / college, so bear that in mind when you ready it.

Good luck. :crossedf:
