Engineering Mathematics Uni of Bristol

Hi, I recently recieved an offer for engineering maths at uob and the courses look fascinating.
I also received Mech Eng offers from other unis (primarily sheffield). I am debating over Mech eng or eng maths. Can I become a fully fledged engineer with eng maths? Is there any drawbacks? Advantages? I can't seem to find any of these answers anywhere.

Bristol's website suggests that you can become a chartered engineer:

Our courses are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), providing our graduates with all the requirements to become a Chartered Engineer or Chartered Mathematician.
