Funding if I return to a degree after a break to do a masters?

Hi

I had second degree funding for a BSc Combined STEM degree at the Open University. I completed the first year, but then decided to exit with a Cert HE so that I could pursue a MSc Psychology (Conversion) also at the OU which I got masters funding for. If after the masters I decide to return to the BSc and continue into year two, will I be able to get funding again, or have I lost that now that I have Masters funding?

Thanks
Jo

Hi Fezzi,

Just to confirm, what university would this be at and the full name of the course? Thanks, Jason

Hi
I would be returning to the part-time BSc Combined STEM - of which I have completed the modules to gain a CertHE (equivalent to year 1). I received second degree funding for this degree, as it is a STEM subject. I would be returning to this part-time degree into the next stage of modules - (equivalent to years two and three) part-time over 3-4 years starting in 2025 after I complete my Masters. My question is, can I return to the funding for the further modules (not starting again) after the masters?
Thanks

Based on what you have advised it should be ok for finance, but nothing would be definite till you apply nearer the time and the assessor can review this and confirm.
