Have a chance to study A Levels in the UK. What do you think?

Hello, I am a 16 years old student from Poland and I won the two-year British Council Scholarship. If I agree, I will spend two last years of my education in the UK and will write A Levels exam. ls it worth to go for it? Maybe it is better to stay in Poland?

i'm polish too and i'm just about to sit my a level exams. it's really a great opportunity but it also depends on what your plans are after a levels. if you wanted to go to university internationally or just do something internationally, i would say totally go for it. however, if you wanted to stay in poland after and go to uni there, i'd say stick to matura or the ib as it'd just make the process so much easier.

well it seems like a pretty good school, I would recommend getting in touch with some students to see what they also think and whether its worth it. Also do you plan to go to uni in Poland or uk or anywhere else. Do you think you can handle being alone in uk for two years minimum to study? It'll be a big change not being around your family, foreign country, and having to do independent study of A Levels.

hejka! if you want to study medicine internationally i'd say go for a levels because they go into more depth in biology and chem compared to matura just because they're more specialised. also its so weird talking in english to a fellow polish person lmaoo

Oooh I can help with that if you don't mind. Basically Biology A (Salters-Nuffield) contains more ecology, while Biology B focuses more on microbiology.
