I did OCR computer science and got an 8- I did a lot of coding practise, for me on Visual Basis, and googled a bunch of code problems to solve that give you answers to check when done. Making sure you understand the code exam language is also very useful. I would say learning the computer systems thoroughly is also good to do!

i used physics and maths tutor and went thru like each grade topics and worked on ones i struggled on. they have practice questions and also mathsgenie is good for explaining harder topics. also past papers and correcting them afterwards is good too. on topics i find to be trickier just search up ‘gcse (topic name) harder questions’ some other questions will pop up. good luck:smile:)

how's your art going? i JUST finished my exam prep like now, so i've washed my hands clean of art until thursday when my exam is. i'm predicted a 9, so is there anything that you'd wanna add to your art to raise your grade, or do u really not mind? because i know that some people in my own class dont really care since they aren't doing it for a-level. : )

i think i do aqa, but a lot of my friends from diff schools who do aqa still didn't do do the same topics as me from the get-go. but obviously when we started the 40 percent exam bit after christmas then everyone was kind of on the "same page" since we all had the same exam paper.

BRO I WANTED TO USE A SKETCHBOOK FOR MY EXAM PREP COURSEWORK BUT MY TEACHER WOULDNT LET US. so all my stuff is displayed on really big sheets- but it still looks good tho. i just have like 15 sheets of a2 paper with all my artwork and annotations laid out on it. it would have been wayyy easier to display it in a sketchbook. i had an a4 sketchbook for the 60 percent coursework but i wanted an a3 sketchbook for the exam prep project and my teacher said no :frown:

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR EXAM THO- i hope it goes well, and i guess since you're not doing it for a-level you shouldn't worry about it too much. but it's so damn time consuming so idk how im gonna survive sixth form doing biology and psych as well 😭

hi! welcome to gyg !! i can't really help that much with comp sci, but i got an 8 in lang even though i HATED IT and only wrote like 4-5 paragraphs instead of 6 😭 and i can say i just really tried to understand what the examiners want to see, there were patterns yearly in what they liked to see, and honestly also just go with your gut. what you know you can analyse in a way they'd like to see is what you should analyse - even if it's just a 2 word sentence it's better than trying to analyse something you don't understand. also - i always went for the description over the narrative. i found it was easier to prep for.

A LEVEL SKETCHBOOKS ARE SO COOL. i cant wait to take it so i can make my sketchbook look like that 😭 because oh my days i get so jealous. and my teacher said the same thing about they dont mark us on the decoration, just the content and analysis but like still.
