You can relate your work experience at the primary school by highlighting transferable skills like communication, empathy, and teamwork. You can also mention how it enhanced your understanding of human development and behaviour, as well as your ability to provide compassionate care. As for your work experience at the care home, you can discuss how it provided exposure to the healthcare field and helped you develop relevant skills and insights into patient care.
Sharing specific experiences or interactions from your time at the care home can provide depth to your application too

Hi
Well done for considering becoming a adult nurse.

You have the perfect transferable skills for nursing..... You have the communication skills required for nursing, you have skills in dealing with people, you'll have skills in technology and you will also have teamwork skills.

You have some experience with working in a care home which is useful as you'll have some knowledge of what you'll be doing as a nurse.

Experience isn't always necessary for nursing but useful if you have any. Perhaps try to apply for a auxiliary nurse role or HCA role part-time within your local health board area and see what happens from this. You can always do volunteering work on a hospital ward, contact your local hospitals and see if they have anything you can do.

3 things you can easily transfer from primary school work to nursing:
Time management (showing up on time, completing a full day, having certain amounts of time to complete tasks)
Acting in a professional manner
Communication - including adapting this depending on needs of different people

As for the work experience in a care home... yes you definitely can use that! Use it in reference to the 5 Cs as well.
