how to show work experience?

I worked for 1.5yrs in a Garment industry in their IT and merchandising department. And now I wonder if this can help me with placements in good Unis, even though my grades are pretty average
B,B,C,D. I also worked as an intern in an IT firm for 6 months. I have certification for all these, and I did some small projects of my own. Will it help me ? Thank you 🙂

PS. I want to study Computer Science

Was it paid employment?
If so then you list it in the employment section on UCAS
It’s worth remembering though that CS is an academic degree not a vocational IT degree.

Yes I was paid in the Garment Industry. Is it beneficial?

But will the Job and Internship experience be helpful getting in a RG uni or Other highly reputed ones? + In which job sector should I try to gain experience ? As I have more 5 to 6 months left. Shoot me with suggestions . Thanks

Work experience isn’t particularly relevant or helpful when applying to a theory heavy academic course like CS.
You’d be better off doing moocs

Your work experience probably won't count for that much at university, but it will count for a huge amount if you wanted to get a job in tech. Why not do that and see if they would consider offering you a degree apprentice on the side?
