Leadership and Management Placement Hours

I am in my final year and on a 9 week leadership and management nursing placement (360 hours), and have completed all of my proficiencies on my last placement.

After this I have a final 6 week placement to make up hours.

As per previous placements the minimum hours was 150 in order for it to be assessed.

If you are absent on the leadership and management placement is it better to make the time back as soon as possible by doing extra shifts?

Good luck with rest of your nursing degree.

If you are unfortunately absent from your placement, then usually you'll discuss the matter with your university course leader and also your university placement officer who'll rearrange any lost placement hours for you to do - this can be done either by working your days of ( if on placement) or perhaps during any holidays or even weekends during your university studying weeks..... Another way they might do is that you do your placement missing hours during your university studying weeks and you can catch up with your university studying work at night when home. Each university has there own ways of doing things okay.

Best way for you if you happen to fall into this situation is discuss with your university course leader and placement officer as they have to arrange your placement.
