Uni of Hertfordshire 2D Animation BA portfolio help

I plan to apply to University of Hertfordshire this January and would like to know if people who have been accepted to the course in previous years have any tips on what to add to my portfolio or just getting accepted in general.
I didn't get in lol but my friends did. Include character designs, life drawings and perspective work. (I didn't have enough perspective work which is why I didn't get in). They also suggest creating your portfolio on art station and reading any of the books by Andrew Loomis (a famous illustrator, his tips are really good for perspective)

Hey @RenKolao 🙂

We're glad you're considering Herts!

You should check out this video where our Programme Leader provides some insight in regards to your portfolio and interview - click here

With any interview, its super important to prepare and ask yourself why you want to pursue this course, some of your skills that you can bring, and what you hope to do in the future. Like in the interview, its also important that you're expressing yourself through the work you present in your portfolio! Have fun with the art you make and be creative 🙂

Would also recommend signing up for Unibuddy and chatting with Cleona, our 2D Animation ambassador. She will also be able to give you some great tips, as well as an understanding of what o expect when studying at Herts.

Hope this helps, best of luck with your application and future studies!
