SFE Application

I am going on to study for a master's in Speech and Language Therapy straight after four years of undergrad.
I got a little confused about the SFE application in regard to whether I am have been financing myself independently or not.

For the past 4 years, I have been funding myself via bursaries, my part-time job and student finance. So does this count me as supporting myself financially, despite receiving finance from SFE?

Looking forward to receiving some help!

Hi there,

If you're under 25 you need to be self supporting for 3 years before the start of your course. This means you can't take into account student finance when working this out. The amount you earn needs to show its enough to support you i.e. rent/mortgage, food, bills etc. If you don't have self support than we need your parents details to support the application.

Thanks,
Claire
