gel ink in GCSEs

i write with MUJI black ballpoint pens but they use gel ink. will i be able to write with these in my GCSEs and if not what is a good alternative because i hate biros?

pretty sure the rules state you must not use gel pens because i heard my exams officer read that out like a million times in gcses lol, so just avoid it and be better safe than sorry. Try any waterproof ink pens like rollerballs or something and see how you get on. the only reason i like biro is because you dont risk smudging everything.

hahaha hate to break it to you but unfortunately if there's gel ink then it's a big nono for exams (they will literally melt your answers).
i dont know if these are available where you're from, but my absolute favourite is the Uni Jetstream ballpoint pen. But apart from that, any decent ballpoint pen from Pilot/Zebra will do. just make sure the ink flow is smooth and the GRIP!!! is really good (cause you'll be holding that for like 2 hours especially in essay exams)
