tips on how to answer past papers?

so i just learned some content in biology and no matter what i do i still can’t answer past paper questions i find it so hard to figure out what to write but i literally know the content

hi!! what i like to do is briefly go over the content i've just learned, do 1 question in a past paper in bullet point form, writing down what I think would get me the marks (e.g., keywords, simple explanations etc.)
then I look at the mark scheme - they usually list the marks in bullet point form, so compare yours to the mark scheme. look at what actually gets you the marks, write it down and then try again with another question. it's really just repeating from there on, because eventually you will learn how to phrase your answers with the content you know to get the marks!

heyy!! and thankyouu so much for this idea honestly it seems more effective that what i was doing as i would just jump straight into doing a past paper after learning the content, i’ll try this out tomorrow!!!
