It depends on your practice. What sort of work do you do? Which pathway would you like to take in the future? I've heard Ruskin it's a bit more "traditional" and has its fair share of art history.
😊 by the way congratulations for the offers!

Thank you for replying to this thread! I'm currently unsure of where I want to take my work in the future and it might be decided as a result of where I end up going perhaps. I had done quite a lot of painting and drawing in the GCSE and A Level process and had gotten quite comfortable with those traditional mediums but more recently I have enjoyed creating interactive sculptures, games and performance based work which is the portfolio which got me into both Slade and Ruskin. I don't mind studying art history at all which is why I had applied to the BA (4 year) course at Slade in the first place.

Did you go to their open days? If you can afford the cost of living in London I guess London is the place to be. But Oxford is incredible as well! It's a hard decision indeed as both of your options are excellent! In the end of the day it's what you do during the course and the opportunities you take to develop your practice more than the place you attend. Which place do you think it can be intellectually more challenging for you? That you are able to thrive more? Which place have the facilities you would like to use? These are some of the questions I'm considering with my offers as well. It's so hard to decide!! There are some topics in this forum where people discuss these courses in the past. I would recommend you to have a look as well. 😊
