Being Absent from an as level exam

I recently decided to drop one of my four AS level subjects because I am not prepared for it at all but my decision was made at a later time so I won’t be able to.I’m planning on being absent from the exam because I am really prepared for the other subjects and I don’t want the grade for this one to affect my overall result. So will being absent remove the subject from my result or what’s going to happen exactly?

nothing. the result will either show 00/absent thats it. But overall speaking you wont get the grades, so u need to resit for that specific course again
