Which spanish course at uni focuses on language rather than literature (RG preferred)

Which MFL courses can I look at which focus more on just Spanish - rather than multiple languages - and more on the language aspect and less on the literature?

A lot seem to be either choose 2-3 languages or they are very heavy on literature or film.

Im open to hispanic studies and maybe picking up portuguese or Catalan as a new language but have no desire to pick up French or Italian or such for the sake of it. I'm interested in Hispanic culture and world - not just multiple languages.

Im predicted A* in spanish and likely to be A-A* in my other 2 A levels (History and Politics) but still waiting on results of mocks from last week. Thanks!

Hi There.

There are a few RG universities that do single Spanish courses , including University College London,Queen Mary University of London, Oxford University(Cambridge , you have to do 2 languages in first 2 years). I’m sure there are more but those are the ones I know about. Hope this helps.
