Law exam - wrong conclusion in problem question

When you come to the wrong conclusion in an EU law exam problem question, what happens? Realised immediately after when looking at tutorial notes. Applied all cases, directives, relevant treaties etc. Is it a significant mark reduction? A fail?

Normally there isnt a right or wrong answer for problem questions. It'll focus on a grey area, and the skill is in using case law/statutes to guide the reader in how you come to your conclusion. As long as there is logic and a legal argument as to how you reached your conclusion, it will still be valid.
Think of yourself being a dissenting judge if all your classmates reach an alternative outcome
