Help- Msc Occupational therapy or Bsc Speech and language therapy

Hi all, can i have some advice !
I am a first year BSc speech and language therapy student and although I really enjoy the course I find that im not 100% passionate about speech and language but when the lectures are on anything holistic I much more enjoy.
Last year I started researching occupational therapy as my mum works with them and I really like the sound of what they do and how person centred it is, also from what I've read the profession is quite broad.
I applied to the MSc in occupational therapy and was accepted, now im in such a dilemma about which course to do and can I manage the work load of the MSc.

Has anyone been in this dilemma ? What did you pick and why ?

Hi, sorry for being off-topic, but I've applied to the BSc Speech and Language Therapy undergraduate program starting this September. I haven't received any offers yet. Which university do you attend, and what is your timetable like?

Hiya, no thats fine.
I attend Birmingham city university, I go in 3 days a week on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The hours this year have been good to be honest so 9am starts and finishing no later than 3pm but because we having exam prep etc the lectures have been slightly later in April.

Thank you for your response. In terms of assessments and such, I understand that each university has different methods of assessment. Is it primarily through coursework, essays, or other ways?

I would say its been a mixture of exams, assignments, presentations and we have had an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination ) so it is varied. X

Hi,
I’m currently in my 2nd year SLT and I wished I chosen OT.I really enjoyed the holistic care of SLT however I enjoyed more of the rehabilitation of occupational therapy and seem more enthusiastic of the degree.I really wished I chosen OT instead of SLT but I may apply for the masters for OT. I have shadowed a lot of OTs and really enjoy their work but I am unsure also if I can handle a masters aswell.

I would encourage for you to do more shadow work with OTS and different areas of OT such as paediatrics, mental health and see if this a career you would like to pursue.I may wish to do OT in the future

Hi, I have applied and confirmed my enrollment at Greenwich University for speech and language therapy. How are you finding this course in general? What's the workload like, and what's the best way I can prepare myself before starting this September?
