It was good tbf. Homicide came up, which I and quite a lot of people that I know find that the most straightforward. The school I go to cover Human Rights rather than Contract Law so I'm not too sure about that question.

How did you find the human rights section? Police powers is personally my favourite topic so I was pleased that it came up. Not looking forward to unit 4 tho

Have you done conract law? I really want to compare answers becuase I think I did it wrong. Also what topics are you focusing on for Unit 4, I'm honestly so worried about it.

No my sixth form do human rights sorry. For unit 4, I’m not really concentrating on the topics that came up on the unit 3 paper. But my main topics for criminal are: bail, automatism/insanity, strict liability, CPS and non fatal.

So I’ve got summary pages for each topic, with all key information on it. I then write everything I know down onto a whiteboard and keep repeating the process until I’m able to write everything from the page off memory. (Some people call it blurting). I also have a few flash cards too! What about you? Good luck with tomorrow though, it won’t be easy!

Thank you! How did you find the exam? I was pretty happy with the questions I think, because I absolutely love theft, and then I did the economic duress one that I think went ok. What about you, what questions did you do?

I found it really good!! Was just surprised that police powers came up in both U3/4 haha. Because I think I said in the previous reply im not focussing on the topics that have just came up in the u3 exam as they usually don’t cross over! But I managed to remember all the knowledge which is good. I chose insanity over theft as I prefer it. But glad you found it ok. Do you have any knowledge about the grade boundaries?

I'm glad you found the paper good, I'm so happy it's over now, I can't believe A level law is done now! How much did you write per question? I wasn't sure how much to do, so I wrote as much as I could manage. I think the grade boundaries are probably returning back to 2019, or might be a tiny bit less harsh than them. I'm not sure what grades you're aiming for, but I think for 2019, if you got at least 65% of raw marks on both papers, and you got full UMS for A2 law, then you can just scrape an A which is really harsh 😭 I'm so scared for results day now because I messed up unit 3 so badly 😭

I know right!! Tbf I got quite lucky as my preferred topics came up. I wrote about 4 and a half pages for each section. But it isn’t about how much you right tbf, as long as you include all the required information on the mark scheme and discuss both sides of the statement then you should reach the higher bands. Aiming for an A at least as I’m doing Law in university. I do think the boundaries will be high as the papers weren’t too challenging but you never know!

I really hope the grade boundaries are low, although you're probably right because I think they'll be very high this year. I wrote a similar amount per question, so I think I should be fine then! Wow, what university are you aiming for? I am also hoping to get an A, but I'm so scared for results day 😭. Do you have any exams left? I only have one on the 14th and then finally FREEDOM!!! I'm honestly so excited to be finally done, it's been so stressful.

Wow that's an amazing uni! Omg yes those are really high grades, good luck 😭!! Good luck for your exam tomorrow, I'm sure you'll do amazing!! My last exam is for bio, and I keep getting all the past papers wrong, which is really annoying. Yes, it will feel so amazing to be finally done, although I am dreading results day.
What other A level's are you doing?

Thank you! I do maths physics and law, a strange combination but one that I enjoy haha. This year I ended up having my maths unit 3 and law unit 3 on the same day!! So before our unit 3 law exam I had already sat a 2 hour 30 maths exam ahaha. Which made remembering law quite difficult as there is loads to remember. I am already nervous for results day and it’s in August!!! What you hoping to do next year? Are you going to university? Good luck with your biology, few of my mates say unit 4 is quite challenging but I’m sure you’ll be fine

Wow that's an interesting subject combination! What are maths and physics like? I've heard they're really hard. Do you find them as difficult as law? That's so tough having two exams on the same day, I really feel like the exam timetable could have been planned much better. I had exams on monday, tuesday and wednesday one week, which was awful because as soon as one exam was over, I'd have to revise immediately for the next one! I'm also panicking about results day, but I'm trying my best not to think about it!! I'm SO SURE I've got nowhere near the grades I need, but whatever. I'm hoping to go to university for psychology, but it just depends on my grades now and if I've made them or not 😭. Thanks, I think biology went ok but there were so many random questions that I just made up answers for. How did your last exam go? I just finished this morning and it feels so amazing and strange to be free now!

That’s amazing, I’m sure your grades will be great. Tbf, the level of difficulty in physics is like nothing I’ve ever seen. It’s nowhere near the likes of law. Maths is also difficult but physics is just in its own league. I felt like this year there was too much to remember for law but that was as expected tbh. How did you find remembering all the topics at once? My timetable was so bad this year! I had 6 exams in 9 days and that’s including weekends!! I do hope I get the results I wanted, but I have felt like I have underachieved this year maybe except law.

Wow, physics sounds really hard! Yes law was honestly so much to remember, I have no clue how I did it. I also do psychology and bio which also need a lot of memorising so it was very difficult! 6 exams in 9 days is so insane, I remember for GCSE I had so much time between exams, and this year they were so close together. Good luck for your results, I'm sure you will do amazing! I also feel like I underperformed for everything, but I'm going to try and stop worrying about it till results day, because it's driving me crazy thinking about it! Please let me know how it went for you on results day, I'm sure you will get the grades you hoped for!
