Boy trouble

Ok so I just need opinions cuz I'm lost at this point at the beginning of the year I was introduced to this guy since he asked to get put on with me we dont talk that much because we both are too nervous to initiate anything I can't tell if he is even into me I mean when we do talk it's just giggly play fighting and he touches me a lot just today i was basically laying in his lap fighting him for my phone back, the girl who introduced us says he is just scary and is scared to make the first move so is he into me?
