For MNCs the case study was **** so I mostly just did regulation and then talking about why this may not be significant because of political influence like lobbying and because they provide significant tax revenue for governments and they attract investment. Didn’t get enough time on it but would have gone on to mention regulatory capture. I couldn’t think of many of my own examples for other factors like social media or self regulation. I also said that the high barriers to entry mean that regulatory bodies aren’t doing enough to promote competition as well as high priced and imperfect information for consumers means they aren’t sufficient at protecting consumers so this impact may be limited.

The unemployment one I just went on about technical because I forgot what structural was! I was getting confused because the extract was about regional unemployment is this the same thing??

I put

I agree with him to a certain extent ‘uk offers free school meals to try and ease absolute poverty’ and how ‘families will save £500’ and spoke about them using it for other necessities such as energy ext.my evaluation was that, it only provides for children and those in low level education ext

Then the other para was a line about them speaking about the ‘lowest households will struggle’ and said however this might be relative and not absolute poverty, plus uk have other things in place to avoid absolute poverty, eg food banks (but I think that’s outside knowledge)
