Hey, Anyone think paper 2 is gonna be as difficult as last year?

I heard from somewhere that you can only use OCR Exam Reference language in section A and you can use either python(any high-level langauges) or the ocr language in section B. Is this correct?

Im praying it isn't because Ive heard so many awful things about that so hopefully OCR takes pity on us

Wouldn't think so as if I were OCR I wouldn't want more PR problems leading to an official apology.

I'm sure you can use python for the whole thing but if the question specifies for OCR ref language then do it in that. But it shouldn't be too hard bc you just copy the format of OCR ref language that they give in the question.

I'm thinking this year's paper will be a lot easier than last year's because it was so hard last year I swear they like sent letters or something because so many people's parents complained, so to avoid that situation, they'll probably make this year's paper easier, but obviously it'll still be difficult enough

i was thinking that, however they write their papers 3 years before the actual year, so our paper would be writeen in 2019, would they bother changing it and the mark scheme ? so i'm not as certain now, but paper 1 was harder than normal, so perhaps it should level out

oh, I didn't know that, but I assume that after all the complaints they received, they must have reviewed the paper for our year to see if it was going to be too hard, and potentially amended it so it won't be as hard as last years
