will my speaking have a big impact on my french grade

i have rly bad social anxiety so speaking is NOT for me, and i could just hear myself actively messing things up in the exam and was struggling massively bc i couldn’t focus at all - i didn’t answer any questions wrong topic wise and did answer every question, but i was really slow and i wouldn’t be surprised if my tenses were all wrong. but also the opposite, that it didn’t go as terrible as i thought and im still gonna do relatively well (let’s hope so but anyway)

so im wondering if i can still get a 9 in the overall gcse despite this bc i really wanna get a 9 in it (at least an 8) so if anyone’s speaking went badly and they still managed to do well overall pls lmk 😭

Hey, i also have my french speaking exam this friday! To be honest, do not worry as you have said that you answered all of the questions and did it correct. Its completely normal to stutter, be nervous and slow whikst answering the questions. The exam board will take this into consideration I'm sure. In my french speaking mock i stayed up the whole night revsiing trying to remember all my modules but I messed up so bad as I didnt have faith that I could spontaneously answer the question but still got a grade 6! Usually id be upset wutg that but considering how much u truly messed up and okay wuth that and will be much more prepared this time hopefully.

my speaking went horribly. i did german last year, i got a 4 in the speaking but an 8 overall. so don't worry is you speaking goes bad, you can still get at least an 8 as long as all your other sections are good. a 9 would be difficult, but not impossible 🙂
