We’ve been tgt for 2 months n I just realized im the only one who always call her babe… n now i look so dumb. When I ask her she said she’s not used to it even tho she always call her ex those words :smile:

. It’s nth serious but I’m just upset bout it.

If you put the worth of your relationship on the use of a generic nickname there's something wrong. If everything else is fine between you, then don't ruin things over something as minor as this.

She may not be used to it just yet, she might start calling you it soon, dont be upset if she doesnt

Yup, silly thing to get upset over, esp for a a relationship that barely started. Does it not occur to you she might not want to call you the same thing she called her ex?

You would be unwise to pressure her about this, it's the same as pushing someone to say 'I love you' before they ready etc.

Calling someone babe or not isn’t a big deal, i never called my last partner babe. It’s a generic nickname, but she may also associate it with her ex, and calling you it may just not feel right to her because it makes her think of him. There’s other nicknames, and being together for a small period of time is still being in the ‘honey moon phase’, which wears off after 3-6 months. If you’re getting fed up and mad because she won’t simply call you this during the short period of time you’ve been together, I don’t think later on this will necessarily work for you both.
