A Level Product Design (aqa)

Hey, i'm kind of worried about my exams for A Level Product Design (aqa) because we've literally not done any theory for it for like the last year and we barely did any in year 12 too. I've been getting As in mocks for it but i'm worried my teachers are marking too kindly so just thought if anyone had any tips or resources please let me know

i am legit the same as you right now. I just use the textbook to revise. As there is so much we need to know, I try to condense all of the info down into small pages that I memorise

double your coursework mark so it's out of 200 (that's how the exam board do it) and that's how many marks you've got so far out of 400 (the two papers add to 200) and then last years grade boundary for A* was 304/400 so do 304 - your 2x coursework mark and that's how many marks you'll have to get over the two papers

Can you explain this I’m in year 13 and I’m doing PD , and the grade boundaries are out of 400 even though you can get a maximum of 300 marks

so you're coursework is out of 100. there's 100 marks for you to get. Both exams combined is 200 marks. I think ones 80 and ones 120. To make the exams and coursework evenly weighted for the overall grade. They double your coursework mark so it's out of 200. So if you had 80/100 in the coursework you'd get 160 marks overall for it

so if you got full marks in coursework and exams it would be 400 marks because the coursework is doubled
