How much does beer effects weight loss and muscle growth?

Hi guys I’ve been working out consistently for the last two months. I barely drink alcohol apart from once or twice a week on the weekend. And just wondering if you guys had experiences whether or not beer has slowed down your progress down to achieve your goals. And I have decided to have a pint or so at this end of the month as I have been grinding in the gym so that to just treat myself.

alcohol intake prohibits muscle protein synthesis to a certain extent. however a few beers isnt gonna ruin your gains

Yeah a couple of beers here and there won't hurt you - but the more regular it gets the more often it significantly spikes your calorie count.
