Glenside Campus UWE car parking

I’m due to start university at UWE (glenside campus) in September however I’m having to commute/ drive there. Where is easiest to park as I’ve heard it’s very limited parking? What’s the closest train station or most advisable route to take if I’m unable to drive there? Just need some recommendations as I’m travelling from outside of Bristol & it’s stressing me!

I'm the same but I'll be going to Frenchay Campus and I have no idea how to get there by bus!

Hi,

I'm at the end of first year at Glenside and i'd still recommend getting a permit as expensive as they are! There is a fair bit of parking, just some parts are busy where the accommodation is. My advice is to just get in 15-20 mins early and you should have plenty of spaces on campus. Then you can grab a coffee in the hub for a bit before hand.

In terms of road parking I have absolutely no idea where would be suitable around here as it's all fairly busy roads or double yellows, but there probs are residential streets with free parking about 10/15 min walk away. One for google street view I think.
